How to Use LIBCARS The following steps will guide you to how you can use this site and achieve what you want to accomplish. 1 – Since you are already on this page, it means you already navigated to the site URL https://www.libcars.com Browsing Cars Browsing cars does not require you to create an account The home page can quickly help you navigate what you want to see using two methods: • Toolbar • Search and microphone Using toolbar: 1 – Click on Buy: Clicking on Buy will take you directly to the posted cars. On that page, you will see all the posted cars and there is a paging control at the bottom for you to navigate to next pages until the last page. You can page forward and backward. 2 – Click on Sell: This link enables logged in users to post new cars. If you don’t have an account or if you are not signed in, you will be directed to either login or create and account by clicking on Join. Click on Join if you want to be a registered user and fill in your information. Currently, a verifiable email is required since you will receive a verification code (OTP). Otherwise, if you are an existing user, you can sign in with your credentials. One you sing in successfully, you will be transferred to a car form where you need to enter your car information. Some fields are optional (e.g. the longitude and latitude). The car form is also reachable from the cars page where you can click on “Add Car 3 – Click Rent: This will take you to the cars page that will display all cars that are listed for rent 4 – Messages: This will be accessible only if you are signed in. This is a box that will show you all your messages regarding any car that you own or contacted. 5 – SignIn/Join: This will take you to a page in which you can sign in if you are already a member. If not, you can click on Join and fill in the information on the form. When you submit, you will be sent an email that will contain a code that you need to enter. Without the code being verified, your account will not be active. You need to make sure you are using a valid email in order to create an account. Coming soon, verification will also be available using a valid phone number. Once you are signed in, and navigate to the cars page by clicking on Buy or Rent, Cars page will have two buttons for you: One to post a car and the other is to view your posted cars that you own. See below on how to post a new car. If you forgot your password, you can always click on “forgot my password”. Provide your account email and submit. Check your email. Click on the link in your email and reset your password. Using Search and Microphone On homepage, you will see a Search box and a microphone. You can use these two methods to search cars for a specific city according to the selected language. For example, if you want cars in Tripoli and you are in English UI, you can type Tripoli and click on search or you can simply say the word “Tripoli” and it will take you to the cars page with the selected city. If you are in Arabic UI, you need to say “طرابلس”
